And away we go....

Today, I made my way back to work. Not really a fun day for me, although the kids make me feel a lot better. As they got off the bus, I was bombarded with screaming kids running up the sidewalk to give me welcome back hugs and high fives. But it didn't make me miss my little punky any less. We did however make it through the day and got home to a perfectly content child, thanks to Grandma von Philp. She even offered to keep McCamey for the week, instead we sent her home with Lady. Tell me who got the short end of that deal!!!! We greatly appreciate her taking the little monster home with her for a few days. Lady loves it because grandma spoils her. She hates coming home to mom and dad.

Tomorrow morning we are off to sunny Florida. There we will join the Compan parents and Em's dad. They are already down enjoying the weather. Dad and Mr. V played a round of golf today while Mom shopped. We can't wait to get down there and enjoy some time off. It seems like we have been running on a treadmill going no where the last few weeks. Between basketball, buying a house and trying to sell this one, we haven't had much time to sit and do nothing. We will take lots of pictures and try to post a blog or two while we are down there. Please all think of us fondly over the next few days!!!
