Happy birthday Grandma! / a great trip

We wish to start out this blog with a happy 30th birthday to Grandma von Philp. We love you very much and appreciate all the things that you have done for us. Your granddaughter loves you and really enjoys spending her weekly time with you, and we appreciate the time it gives us together.

We wanted to let you know how much we love you and we hope that you had a great day, hopefully the male dancers were nice to look at!!!

Emily, McCamey and I recently got back from our yearly 4th of July outing with the Compan family. We really enjoyed our limited time with everyone, and mom and dad we appreciate you bringing us together every year. McCamey loved being around the boys and swimming in the pool!

This month has reminded Emily and I how lucky we are. We are both blessed with great families who love us and who we love dearly. We have learned to treasure all the little moments that we share. I loved sitting around having a few beers, telling old war stories, comparing notes with my siblings. We had a storybook childhood, and it is fun to be creating memories still with the ever growing family of ours.

So happy birthday grandma, and thanks to the Compan side for a great 4th weekend.
